Projects Summary

Client Needs:

Great Promotions Sdn. Bhd. has supplied custom and licensed promotional merchandise to Malaysian QSR and FMCG brands since 2005 — licensed premiums, plushies, mascot costumes, bags and custom-made premiums for names like KFC, Kewpie, Kimberly-Clark, OldTown and Nestlé. The site is the shopfront for that catalogue, and a catalogue that changes with every new licence and campaign goes stale the moment nobody is looking after it.

Service Provide

The specific services delivered on the Great Promotions site:

  • Website Maintenance
  • Content & Page Updates
  • Bug Fixes
  • Performance Optimisation
My Approach:

This is a maintenance engagement rather than a build — I look after the site rather than having made it. The work is continuous: keeping product showcases, client logos and the certification wall current as new licences and campaigns land, and fixing the display and performance problems that accumulate on a content-heavy Elementor build as it grows.

Challenges

The recurring challenge is that every addition is a chance for something to shift. A new product row, another certificate, one more client logo — each can break a column on a phone or add weight to pages already carrying a lot of imagery. The job is keeping the site current without letting it drift.

Results / Success Metrics

What the maintenance engagement keeps running for Great Promotions:

  • Ongoing content and page updates as new licences and campaigns land
  • Product showcases, client logos and the certification wall kept current
  • Display and layout issues fixed as they surface across the Elementor build
  • Page performance attended to as imagery and product rows accumulate
  • Five service lines kept live: licensed premiums, plushies, mascots, custom premiums and bags

A merchandise catalogue is never finished. New licence, new campaign, new product line — the site has to keep up, and most of that work is the kind nobody ever notices: a column that stopped lining up on a phone, a page that quietly got heavy, a certificate that needed adding.
